Electricity saving

Based on CEIC Data, statistics have shown an increase in Malaysians energy use. One of the main reasons for the growth of energy consumption in Malaysia is the weather. The hot weather is making it difficult for Malaysians to cut down on electricity usage.

Recently, societies are seeking ways to reduce energy consumption. According to The Star (2014), the simplest way to reduce electricity consumption is to follow the mantra: “switch off when not in use. Lights, air conditioners and fans need not be left working when you are not in the room.

An electricity-saving monitoring table prepared by Union PALS was stuck in the school for teachers to record and fill in information every month. Based on the table, the school and students will know more about the power usage and the importance of saving electricity.
